Well, here we are on the last day of class for my first born's high school career. And that, I guess makes for a fabulous day. I needed to squeeze in a short bike ride this morning to get my mind right. My senses were on overload.
I passed by this wall of amazing confederate jasmine in full bloom with its intoxicating white flowers.
I stopped at this awesome spot to give thanks for two awesome kids, and said prayers for healing for my family and friends.
I gave a sigh of relief, 'cause I love the South and its treasures like Spanish moss. I'm lucky I live here.
I listened to The Stones, Sublime, and Jack Johnson.
And then, this little mama had tears streaming down her face for the melancholy, metaphorical last mile of the ride.
